Who is behind ORIS
ORIS is a product of FCB.ai, which builds conversational software for insurance and financial services. The product is published by Peach Bots S.A. (Luxembourg, RCS B254034), trading as FCB.ai; full details are in the legal notice.
ORIS started with brokers in Southern Africa, where WhatsApp is often the main channel between a broker and their clients. Europe is the second market.
Who we write for
For principals, account handlers and compliance officers in insurance brokerages and intermediaries: in Southern and East Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana…); in the UK and Ireland; in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland; and in French-speaking Africa (the CIMA zone, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, the DRC, Madagascar). This site is not for consumers shopping for insurance: we do not compare policies and we do not sell insurance.
What ORIS does today
- WhatsApp campaigns built on Meta-approved templates: renewal reminders, cover reviews, claims follow-up, satisfaction. A three-step Quick Campaign for simple sends.
- Customers & Segments: CSV import, a risk score and an engagement score per client, segments filtered by risk, engagement, status, WhatsApp opt-in and tenure.
- Opportunities & Risks: every incoming reply is classified by AI (sales opportunity, catch-up needed, neutral, churn risk) and feeds a single view of the clients to act on.
- Assisted replies: AI suggests draft replies; automatic replies only run under rules set by the brokerage, with a hand-over to a person when the sentiment is negative.
- Consent: messages only go to clients who opted in to WhatsApp, opt-out by STOP (text or button), sign-up links and QR codes per channel.
- CSV export of clients, opportunities and campaign performance.
WhatsApp is connected through Meta's official API (WhatsApp Cloud API with Embedded Signup).
What ORIS does not do
To be clear before a demo: ORIS has no native integration with broker management systems or insurer portals (out of the box, data moves by CSV import and export; a connection to your existing tools is scoped per project). It does not handle payments, e-signatures or policy issuance, and it does not send SMS or email. The interface is in English. This may change; the demo always shows the product as it really is.
How the content on this site is produced
The blog guides, country pages, use cases, message templates, glossary and comparisons are written by the ORIS team from the official texts and pages cited at the bottom of each page (regulators, legislation, Meta's WhatsApp Business documentation). Every page shows its publication date and, where relevant, its update date.
- Sources: every article and comparison lists its references at the end of the page; country pages link to the official websites of the regulator and the data protection authority. We cite legislation and authorities, not unverifiable market studies.
- Dates: the update date only changes when the page's content changes, never on each site deployment.
- Comparisons: they are published by the company behind ORIS; each one states when the other option is the right one and contains no invented prices, ratings or reviews.
- Independence: no sponsored content, no paid links.
This content is for information: it does not replace legal advice, the texts that apply in your country or your regulator's guidance. Spotted an error or something out of date? Tell us through the demo form and we will correct the page.
